RoleCall has announced Buffalo will host its Talent Attraction Summit in 2026. The Summit will take place April 20-22, 2026 in multiple unique venues across downtown Buffalo.
The Talent Attraction Summit is the only national event dedicated exclusively to talent attraction, convening leaders and practitioners to share strategies, highlight successes, and advance economic development.
"We're thrilled to take our annual Talent Attraction Summit to Buffalo," Tim Carty, RoleCall Co-Founder & CEO, said. "Finding the right host city is as important to us as delivering fresh and essential content. Buffalo is a perfect fit and our attendees will soon see why: stunning architecture, a collaborative culture, and people that passionately care about their home."
Buffalo’s successful bid was a year-long effort that began with RoleCall’s work alongside Invest Buffalo Niagara’s Be in Buffalo initiative in September 2024 and culminated in a joint RFP submission by Invest Buffalo Niagara, Visit Buffalo and TechBuffalo.
Tom Kucharski, Invest Buffalo Niagara President & CEO, said: “"Be in Buffalo is being recognized as a national best practice in talent attraction, putting a spotlight on our City of Light at a time when building newcomer pipelines is vital to sustaining our region’s economic momentum. This recognition underscores Buffalo Niagara’s commitment to strengthening the talent pool that powers business growth."
Jeffrey Botteron, TechBuffalo President & CEO, said: “Talent powers modern economies. More and
more, top talent is choosing to stay in or move to Buffalo thanks to an enviable quality of life and expanding
economic opportunities. Hosting this Summit is validation of our progress and Buffalo’s growing role in the
national conversation on talent.”
Hosting the Summit is expected to generate direct economic impact through dozens of visitors experiencing the city while also generating significant national exposure for Buffalo. The Summit was hosted in Cleveland in 2025. RoleCall’s Talent Attraction Summit is the first to commit to Buffalo since
Visit Buffalo’s high-profile rebrand this month.
“Securing the Talent Attraction Summit is exactly the kind of win our new brand was designed to help deliver,” said Patrick Kaler, president & CEO of Visit Buffalo. "It gives national leaders in workforce and economic development a firsthand look at Buffalo’s momentum, creativity, and quality of life—and that visibility translates into real consideration from the talent and industries we want to attract.”
Tickets for the Talent Attraction Summit will be available for purchase in the next few weeks.
