Prominent trade publication EducationWeek spent several days in Buffalo recently to understand the innovative work TechBuffalo is doing in partnership with local K-12 schools.
The subsequent article, Can AI Take on the Grunt Work So Educators Can Focus on Student Learning?, featured a Q&A with Sweet Home School District Superintendent Mike Ginestre about responsibly adopting AI and preparing students for a fast-changing future.
"It is our duty and responsibility to teach responsible AI usage," Ginestre told reporter Grace Jiang. "If we put a hold on that, I really believe our students will fall behind and be less competitive."
